Call for Partnerships for Cooperation – Partnerships for Cooperation in the field of education and training, submitted by European non-governmental organisations (Call ERASMUS-EDU-2025-PCOOP-ENGO), is now open for applications on the EU Funding and Tenders Portal.
The primary aim of Partnerships for Cooperation is to enable organisations to enhance the quality and relevance of their activities, develop and strengthen their partner networks, and improve their capacity for joint action at the transnational level. This fosters the internationalisation of their activities through the exchange or development of new practices and methods.
The application coordinator must be a European non-governmental organisation active in the field of education and training (EDU). Please check the specific definition of a European non-governmental organisation and the description of this action in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, available in all official EU languages.
Deadline for applications: 5 March 2025, 17:00 (Brussels time).
Evaluation period: March – July 2025.
Notification to applicants: September 2025.
Grant agreement signing: September – December 2025.

Important updates for the 2025 Call
- The European body/Secretariat of a European non-governmental organisation submits the application on behalf of the European NGO.
- The definition of a European NGO has been revised: The European body/Secretariat must have been legally established for at least two years in an EU Member State or a third country associated with the Programme.
- The geographical scope of project participants has been revised: Any public or private organisation established in an EU Member State, a third country associated with the Programme, or a third country not associated with the Programme from Region 1 (Western Balkans), Region 2 (Eastern Neighbourhood), and Region 3 (Southern Mediterranean countries) may participate. Organisations from Belarus (Region 2) are not eligible.
- The eligibility check form “ERASMUS EDU PCOOP ENGO 2025” must be completed and uploaded in the application submission system under the section “Partnership and Activities Information”.
- A new award criterion, “Quality of the partnership and cooperation arrangements,” has been added. The consortium must now include partner organisations beyond the applicant European NGO, allowing collaboration beyond its national organisations/branches.
